Todd and Kore 3-29-08

Okay, as promised Wes (yes this is a post by Danielle...I know, shock) finally had the time to finish up with Kore's wedding in Hilton Head (as previously sneaked peaked a couple of weeks ago.

This is Kore's dress that she designed herself and a friend/co-worker made for her. She accessorized for comfort wearing white Keds tennis shoes!

"Sisters, sisters..."

Kore and her mom REALLY enjoyed having their portrait taken by Hope Photography! ;)

We told Kore to show off her bling so she flashed us the only "gang" sign that she knows. I minored in American Sign Language so I'm pretty sure Kore is telling herself that she loves herself.

Kore told Todd (a tremendous Jeff Gordon fan) that he was not to wear any Jeff Gordon paraphernalia to the wedding (I think he wanted some rainbow socks) so this was his way of showing her who is boss! ;)

The ceremony was in the courtyard of the beautiful Main Street Inn.

The previously eluded to super-windy beach photos. Todd was blown away.

When Todd proposed to Kore he got the idea from his daughters to pop the question using an Etch-A-Sketch, so as wedding favors they gave away tiny Etch-A-Sketches...Maddie loved them!

Kore! What did this poor boy do to you???

A week later Kore and Todd had a blessing/vow ceremony at Maryville College (where Kore used to work) to allow local friends and family to see them. It was short and sweet...literally! We got to enjoy some of our favorite wedding cake by local baker Elaine Mason. She owns I Do Cakes (865-522-0321) out of Knoxville and does AMAZING (and delicious) work!

It was a beautiful wedding and a nice little get-a-way for us. We will be happy to travel to beachy (it's a word...I just made it up) locations anytime if you know of anyone gettin' hitched! Who are we kidding, it doesn't have to be the beach...anywhere you want to take us would be fine with us :)

Wes will hopefully have more engagement photos to show you soon followed by two cute kiddos we've had portrait sessions with the past couple days.

And now that he knows that I know how to post on this blog thingie, he's probably going to expect me to do it more often!! ;(
