Huge Canvas Sale!

That's right, the above says it all! Our canvas company is having a sale so we thought we would pass the savings on to you!

We're nuts! It's crazy! We're slashing prices! (Sorry, I watched a lot of used car and furniture store closing commercials for inspiration for this post. I wanted to rent a big pink gorilla or one of those wavy-arm-fan guys, but Danielle wouldn't let me. ;)

For one week only starting, well, NOW, all canvas gallery wraps are on sale 25% off! That's huge! Need a nice big 60x40 from your wedding for the living room? Or a grouping of a few 16x20s of your cutie for your den? A 9 canvas cluster for the nursery? How about a 20x30 in your favorite bathroom!* Well what are you waiting for?

All canvas sizes are on sale until Wednesday, September 30, 2009.

If you need more details including a sale price sheet, drop us a line at info@hope-photo.com or call 865-977-6483.

And just in case you haven't made it to our gallery to see some canvases in person, here's the best photo I have showing them off. Please overlook the shaggy dork on the ladder who was hanging the art.

Remember ONE WEEK ONLY!

*(In all seriousness, our canvas gallery wraps are some of the coolest things we offer. If you've seen them, you know what I mean. I can't imagine a better way to display your art than with a canvas.)

Cades Cove Engagement Photography: Kristal+Charles

Hi folks! This week we have another cool engagement session to share with you. Kristal and Charles are one of our 2010 couples and we can't wait for their wedding to roll around. Kristal is a DIY bride and she's doing a awesome job with all the planning and organizing (and you can follow her wedding adventure on her blog My Purple Wedding). Not only is Kristal a cool bride, but I think she's our longest blogstalker; she's followed long before she was engaged! ;)

For their session, Kristal and Charles chose Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It's so nice this time of year. Moderate temps, low crowds and everything is still green. We had a blast going all over the Cove and I think we would still be there shooting if we hadn't run out of light and worn Kristal and Charles out. They were good sports and I think we all had fun playing in the mountains.

Here are some faves...

We started off with some equine action. This guy tried to eat me moments later. I almost died.

Kristal made a crack about me being old, so I stuck her in what I like to call "Tick Country". ;p

It's not a Cades Cove photo unless you do the obligatory "down-the-lane" photo.

Don't forget the obligatory fence photo too. But hey, we do it with style!

(And different angles.)

Epic.

I think Charles enjoyed all the kissy-face action.

All giddy.

Kristal had seen another couples' engagement photos that incorporated some signage so she brought along this LOVE sign we played with.

Some goldenrod fun.

Cable Mill.

This Old House.

You gotta love old barns for backdrops.

Framed.

Some dork tried to photobomb the session.

Lovely.

Crazy kids these days!

That's all she wrote. Well, all I wrote, I guess. Charles and Kristal, I hope you two LOVE the photos!

Maryville Engagement Photography : Leigh+Jamie

Greetings! Today I want to share some images from one of our recent engagement sessions in downtown Maryville. Leigh and Jamie's wedding is a month away and is our first of Octoblitz. Yeah, remember how insane I was in CrazyMay when we had so many back-to-back weddings? Well, October is following suite. It's almost as popular as May. Hence "Octoblitz". So be warned... I'll be acting crazier than normal this fall. :)

Leigh and Jamie decided to do their engagement session on the Greenbelt in Maryville and we had a great time walking the trails and venturing into downtown a little. They're a fun couple to be around and we are looking forward to their intimate wedding in a few weeks.

Her are a few favorites from the session...

A nice moment by Danielle.

We gots to sneak up on 'em sometimes.

Just a couple of hams.

This is one of my favorite walls in Maryville.

Kind of appropriate since Jamie is a teacher.

I get the cutesy, good-looking couple photo...

Danielle gets the moody, sweet couple.

Some garage lovin'.

I love couples that don't even balk when we ask them to jump on a rock in the middle of a creek. Well, I guess we're not talking about Class IV rapids here, but still, cool that they did it for us.

After the session, I casually joked that we should have Jamie leapfrog Leigh and Leigh jumped (sorry for the pun) all over it. Jamie was a little apprehensive, but I think he enjoyed it after the first leap. I couldn't choose a favorite from the two takes, so you get both of them!

That's if for now. We hope you enjoyed Leigh and Jamie's photos!
