Knoxville Senior Photography - Kathryn

Hey everyone!

It's that time of year. The time of year when flowers start blooming, the grass gets greener and high school seniors every where are preparing to graduate! We love seniors. Senior portraits are so fun to photograph because of getting to know the many different personalities of these young adults.

Kathryn was no exception. It was really great getting to know her personality because it is so much like ours (scary, I know)! We had such a great time with her and her mom at the Knoxville Botanical Gardens and in downtown Knoxville.

You know that if there's something around for me to shoot through then I'm gonna do it!

Love that smile!

Her eyes are just stunning.

Can't decide which one of the next three I like the best...?

Kathryn is on the Cross Country team in school. That is awesome. The only time that Wes or I run is when we are being chased by something larger than us. :)

Love this one!

Love this one even more!

Not sure whose car this is, but if we are doing a photoshoot and you leave your cool old car just parked on the side of the street, we're gonna be using it as a prop!

Thank you so much Kathryn for letting us capture your senior pics! Good luck in college!

If you know of any high school seniors needing some awesome senior photos, send them our way! We'd love to do more sessions like this one!

Whitestone Wedding Photography - Amy + Kevin 03.24.12

A couple weeks ago marked an exciting time for us… the start of wedding season! And I can't think of a more perfect wedding to kick things off than Amy and Kevin's beautiful day at Whitestone Inn in Kingston.

The lovely chapel at Whitestone on an amazing March day.

The lovely bride, Amy.

And her groom, Kevin.

They chose to do a "first look" before the ceremony. I love Kevin's reaction.

Aren't they cute?

Kevin asked us to do a little tilt-shift magic on a few of the photos.

So pretty!

Whitestone is full of cool spots for photos.

Awww...

I love all of these. It's awesome when our couples are cool with playing in the bushes.

The red bud trees were off the hook! (That's a good thing, right?)

Hey Kevin, is it almost time?

Check out the cool clouds that moved in right before the ceremony.

A horse wanted some head shots taken so we snuck her in.

Here comes the bride.

The Chapel is so pretty inside.

The family that prays together, stays together.

A quick portrait after the ceremony.

And one more with that amazing sky.

It was a very emotional wedding, full of happy tears like these during Amy and Kevin's first dance.

And during her sister's toast.

And during Kevin's best friend's toast. What made this super special, and a surprise, was that Kevin's friend couldn't be there for the wedding because he's stationed in Germany, so Amy arranged to have him record a speech and the DJ played it during the toasts.

Here's something we've never seen… the Shoe-lywed Game. It was cute!

He's sexy and he knows it.

Now dip!

A ring detail lit with an iPhone. That's how awesome we are!

And another detail on a bow from a wedding gift. Danielle is awesome at spotting things like that for me to do my ring thing on.

My camera almost melted from all the sexiness.

Super cute, but ewww.

Maybe they should've checked IDs at the open bar.

(Just kidding.)

Freedom!

Thanks for being the first wedding of the year, Amy and Kevin! It was beautiful!!
