Dandridge Wedding Photograpyhy: Halie + Michael 06.26.10

And back to weddings for a while! Last month we traveled to Dandrige for Halie and Michael's wedding at the Mountain Harbor Inn on Douglas Lake. Halie and Michael's wedding was our first time at the Inn and it was beautiful; right on the water with gorgeous views of the mountains!

Let's kick things off with some details...

How's that for a dress photo?

Our third shooter/assistant Brittany played with the shoes.

Getting ready.

Michael and Halie after the first look… they're such a sweet couple.

Check out those eyes!

I love these two images.

The Mountain Harbor Inn had a bunch of cool places to shoot.

One of these guys is doing his own thing.

Watching guests arrive.

Even though Halie and Michael's wedding was earlier in the day, it was still a scorcher. On the way to the ceremony, I asked Halie if she wanted to cool off a little and she took me literally.

Um, no sweetie, you're supposed to throw the petals, not pick up the ones that the other flower girls have already tossed.

I love a wedding full of smiles. :)

Fine. I'm taking my petals and going home.

Told you this place was gorgeous.

I'm not sure what was said, but I'm sure it was funny.

The Mr. and Mrs.

Halie gave out activity bags to all the kiddos.

What's going to work? Teamwork!

Bride stumps toe on table. Bride mutters expletive under breath while groom laughs. Family takes photos.

Danielle grabbed this while waiting on the single ladies to get in place for the bouquet toss.

I had fun looking for different ways to shoot the rings. I tried crayons, the flower girl's Cabbie Patch doll...

But I think some homemade cookies from the candy bar were my favorite.

The day ended with Michael and Halie taking Brittany and me for a ride in the family boat. Fun stuff!

I'm sure we're breaking all sorts of maritime laws here.

We stopped at a little floating chapel outside the Inn on the way back for a few minutes.

Thank you Halie and Michael!! And congratulations on a beautiful wedding!!

Maryville Portrait Photography - Kinsli

Happy last week of July everyone! Up on the old blog today is yet another super cute kiddo! I photographed Kinsli on her first birthday a couple weeks ago at the Maryville Greenbelt. We did a session with her older brother Ayden, almost two years ago, at the same spot. Here are a few favorites from Kinsli's session!

Such a cutie!!

Check out those baby blues.

Here comes trouble.

My favorite series from the day. Kinsli is part billy-goat... she was trying to eat everything she could find, including this leaf (that's Mom jumping in on the last frame to stop her).

You get her upright and she starts marching... she's *that* close to walking (bubbles provided by brother Ayden).

Um, why am I sitting on a rock?

Blasted by bubbles.

Yay!!

Who's a supercute baby? I am!!

We had to get Ayden in for a few (even if Kinsli wasn't a fan of sharing the spotlight).

Maybe saying she wasn't a fan is an understatement. ;)

Maryville Portrait Photography - Cameron

I know I just updated the ole blog on Friday, but I had to go ahead and share some favorites from a toddler session with little Cameron. This little guy is a ball of energy (of course, what 2.5 year old isn't?) and I had tons of fun chasing him all over the campus of Maryville College!

Note: Kids love sticks. Grandparents, pay attention… you don't need to spoil your grandkids with a million toys. Sticks, boxes, rocks… they're the perfect gift. We couldn't get this stick away from Cameron, so don't be surprised if you see it in most of the photos. :)

I mean, I can't blame him… what's not to love about sticks? They can be magic wands...

Microphones...

Gifts...

And photographer deterrents! (Don't worry, no photographers, or sticks for that matter, where harmed in the making of this photo.)

He's so stinkin' cute!

And kind of reminds me of a young Haley Joel Osment.

One happy family!

Oops, I take that back… sticks aren't nearly as cool as Dad's Blackberry! :)

Thanks for stopping by!
