Knoxville Wedding Photography - Ashlie + Chuck

Phew! Finally a new blog post!! Things for us have been crazy busy lately, but we finally had a chance to get these pics up for you to see.

We LOVE small weddings. The smaller the wedding, the more intimate they are and the more real-life moments we get to capture. That's why we were super excited when Ashlie contacted us at the end of last year to photograph their super small wedding at their house in March. Ashlie and Chuck met with just their parents and their friend who served as minister in their back yard. It was such a small ceremony, that I even played the role of witness and signed their marriage license! The weather was perfect, the vows were sweet and this couple was a blast! Just see for yourself!

"Here comes the bride…"

Chuck was happy to look down the aisle and see Ashlie heading his way!

A "mother and father of the bride perspective".

Just look at how she smiles at her new hubby.

Perfect setting.

We aren't afraid to go into old, run down, snake-filled sheds to get the cool shots!

See? Totally worth it!

We love making our clients laugh!

These shoes were Ashlie's wedding day splurge. I'm not all "girly" so I'm not sure what kind they are, I just like the color!

Love this one!

I love this one too for some reason.

Every lady needs a good set of pearls.

And then we played in the woods.

A little play on the classic American Gothic.

From my point of view.

From Wes' point of view. See why it's cool to have two photographers that think somewhat differently?!

So sweet!

If you know us at all, then you know that I love shooting through stuff and shooting reflections. This wedding allowed me to do both! Unfortunately, Wes totally photo-bombed this shot! Turd.

i still rocked it though!

You give us an old truck to play with and it's really tough to get us away!

One of our favorite poses when a cool vehicle is present.

One last snuggle.

Congratulations Ashlie and Chuck! We truly loved being a part of your big day! Really wish we could've gone to Ireland with you to celebrate!

Maryville Newborn Photography - Jackson is here!

I have a confession to make. I've been a lazy blogger. Well, more like a busy blogger. I've taken a day job (I'll save that for another post in a few weeks) and haven't taken the time to get the blog updated. Which stinks because this cutie pie you're about to view is 2 months old... And I'm just now getting his newborn photos up! Oh well… great photos are timeless, right?

Remember the last post, Amanda's maternity session? Well, just a few days after that blog post, she gave birth to little Jackson. We did the maternity session just in the knick of time! So here he is world... Jackson!

He's dreaming of kissing pretty girls.

I try to keep the sessions entertaining, but I guess you just can't please everyone.

Sound asleep.

His big sister, Ellie Kate, loves him just a little.

I'm not great at the cutesy newborn in cutesy hats photos, but this one is pretty stinking cute.

The whole family. Mike and Amanda and their beautiful kiddos.

The Thinker. Or the stinker depending on the contents of this diaper.

Congratulations Bishop family! It's amazing seeing your family grow!
