Maryville portrait photography - clare and adam

Continuing on with our pet theme, we have Clare and Adam. Well, they aren't the pets, but they did want to include their pets in the session so we got to meet Buck and Bandit!

So first, meet Buck! Buck is a super cool horse with zebra like stripes up his legs that only showed up in sunlight. Our girls were invited along on this session and they were completed fascinated!

Just a girl, a horse and some awesome fall colors.

Just a girl, a horse and the moon.

Some horse lovin'.

Definitely one of my favorites!

Now, meet Bandit as he gets up close and personal with Adam's glasses!

There's just something about a boy and his dog.

Siblings.

I guess they can be sweet to one another sometimes.

The sweetness doesn't last too long though! :)

If you are a regular here, then you remember me making the comment about kids eating leaves a few posts ago. Now, even older kids are wanting bites! Seriously, those things must be laced with chocolate!

We have taken pics of Clare and Adam on several different occasions and I know that I say this a lot, but I always mean it when I do, they are truly some of our favorite clients! I often say how great it is getting to watch our clients change and grow and in Adam's case this is even more of a blessing because he fought (and won) a pretty rough battle with cancer for most of last year! He is one awesome little boy and his family is so amazing for fighting alongside of him!

Thank you Clare and Adam! It is always fun to see you guys and thank you for sharing Buck with our girls and allowing them a ride!

Knoxville portrait photography - The Mobley Crew

Up today we get a cuddly couple and one cute pooch! We've done photos of Laura, Craig and Frank now for several falls and they are always so much fun to work with!

One happy family! Well, technically Ben (the human child) was added as a joke for the Christmas card this year. Laura and Craig's only child for now is Frank (the four-legged cutie).

I love the looks they give one another!

It's always nice to see our four-legged clients as they grow up too! Sloppy kisses!!

Totally their idea to have a leaf fight! As a woman, I REALLY wanted Laura to win, but from the look of these photos, I think Craig took it!

Probably my favorite. I love the look on Frank's face.

A shot with mom.

The Frank.

Now THAT'S a clear sign of a couple in love! Communication (in any form) is key folks! :)

Oooohhh no, maybe this one's my favorite!

A shot with dad.

Ben, the amazing Frank wrangler! He did such an awesome job babysitting Frank that we thought he needed to be in the limelight for a few pics too!

Thank you Mobley crew! It is always a pleasure hanging out with you guys!

Maryville Pet Photography - Luna, Levi, and Rocco

Want to know what's more challenging than photographing children? Dogs. Big, hyper, lovable, goofball canines. One of our past clients, Angie, was dog-sitting for a friend who has a pair of awesome great danes. We did such a good job photographing Angie's pooches Blueberry and Tater Tot this past spring that she wanted to give her friend the gift of photos of her beloved Luna and Levi. I was ready for the slobbery challenge and met at Angie's house to try to capture these gentle giants.

This is Levi. Bet you can't tell how we were trying to get him to sit still.

And this is Luna. She is such a sweetie. Sadly, she has cancer that has already taken one of her legs, but no one sent her the memo because she was running around keeping up with Levi all over the lawn.

Levi thought he was being all camouflage and stuff.

Sometimes you just have to scratch your back.

Finally! They paused for a split second and I was able to get one of the two of them together.

Who needs 4 legs to be a happy dog?

Baaaaaaallllll!!!

Siblings.

Angie also asked if I could get a few photos of her beautiful white Great Dane, Rocco. Don't worry… he's playful. And no owners were harmed in the making of this photo.

He was quite the bounder too.

Rocco is deaf, so it was cool watching Angie interact with him.

What a beauty!

Thanks Angie and furry friends!!

Maryville Portrait Photography - Free Sessions Weekend continued

Okay, as promised, here's more pics from the "free session weekend" that we did a few weeks ago!

Up first, we have more doggies! I LOVE big dogs and I definitely met my match at this session with Blueberry the Great Dane! He was accompanied by his quite smaller buddy, Tater Tot.

What a beautiful dog!

His profile reminds me so much of Scooby Doo!

I like a dog that can look me in the eye!

Love this one!

Dance, Tater Tot. Dance!

This is Angie, Blueberry and Tater Tot's human. :)

Thank you Angie for bringing your kids out to play today! We had a great time getting to know these guys even though I'm pretty sure that my hands still smell like hot dog treats! :)

Up next we had former wedding clients, Jenna and Jason and their newest addition, Jackson! We love when we do a couple's wedding and then they call us for baby pics when they start growing their families!

Happy Family!

Had to do the squishy kiss face.

Such a cutie!!

Dig this outfit.

Some daddy and mommy lovin'.

Thank you Jenna, Jason and Jackson! It was a lot of fun hanging out with you all again!

Next on the list is the Miller family. We've taken photos of the Miller's now for a couple of years. This session was extra special because they will be using these pics in their adoption book as they are praying for the opportunity to add to their already adorable little family!

It's awesome seeing our client's children grow up from one session to the next and Cameron here was no exception!

Trying to make mom nervous by leaning too far out over the water!

Guess how old Cameron is??

Some sunflare love!

As always Millers, it was so nice to see you guys! Thank you for being awesome clients!

Lastly, we meet some new clients! This is the Sink family and they told us up front that they like to have fun and really like the "more laid back and candid pics". We knew right away that we'd be a perfect match!

You know it's going to be a fun session when it opens with a family dog pile!

Some sibling love!

It's really not every day that a client climbs a tree for a shot!

You know though, that when it comes to brothers and sisters, one can't climb a tree without the other one doing it too!

Kids never like seeing their parents make-out.

The session ended with a nice, friendly chicken fight!

Thank you Sink Family, it was great meeting you all. Hopefully you'll make future appearances on our blog!

Once more, a huge thank you to everyone who came out to participate in the "free session" weekend! Stay tuned to the blog over the next couple of weeks because there are some great sessions coming soon including an engagement session that ended in a paint fight, one of the cutest newborn sessions ever (I can say that since I am the little girls' adopted aunt), and an Old City session with a beautiful senior!
