The Hopes

Last week we had our first official family photo as a quartet done. Our good friend Tara Kneiser, with Dixie Pixel Photography, was fortunate to have her family photographed by AltF (John Michael Cooper - wedding photography superstar) during a stop in Atlanta as part of a project he and his wife Dalisa have started. Their concept, inspired by a David Williams, was to photograph photographer's families; to turn the camera on those of us normally behind the lens. They have called it Roadside Families, a Pay It Forward Project. So since Tara was photographed by the Coopers, she in turn had to choose a photographer's family to do the same. Since we have a shiny brand new baby, she chose us!

Here's the link to the images: Paying it forward!

This means it's our turn to pay it forward. So we're searching for a photography family in the East Tennessee area to do a session with. If you're interested, drop me a line at wes@hope-photo.com.

Coming up next: I was contacted Friday by a magazine in Florida to shoot the Tennessee-Florida game yesterday. Even though the Vols got beat down, I had a blast. So expect some killer action photos in the next day or so!

Loved the pictures of you guys on the blog! We don't get to see many of the four of you. . .it was great! Loved the individual pictures too.

Congrats Hope Family! Tara is an amazing photographer and I love what she did with your images!

Don't be shy to pick up the phone or shoot an email to another photographer in town that you don't know and offer the session - it's such a delightful way to get to know someone and really make their day!

I can't wait to see what you do with this project!
