Bridal Show Fun!

Hey Everyone, well the bridal show is over and went well. I didn't go into labor (obviously) and Wes was happy that I followed his orders and stayed sitting in my chair for the majority of the day. We ended up seeing a lot of really great brides and even booked a few spring weddings while we were there!

One thing that we really wanted to do at this show was to express our fun side a little more. We tried to make the day a little more laid back and have fun with each other and with the couples that we met. So, in doing that we decided to pull an idea from our ad in Premier Bride magazine. Our ad featured a photo taken at one of our weddings from last fall were the couple had silly glasses as party favors which Wes put on and then snapped a photo of himself with the couple. In recognition of the ad, we went to the party store and got some of these fun sunglasses, a few leis and some crazy hats. We thought it would be fun to have a few of the brides that we met today pose for a quick photo in the props and then blog them. So enjoy!

Here is the original ad.

This one is of us (obviously) and our terrific assistants who we couldn't have done the show without. Big thanks to Beth and Kathy (my mom)!

We are very blessed to know some really awesome vendors and our good friend Lisa Foster who is absolutely amazing made us this beautiful spread and the beautiful centerpieces that Wes posted pics of in our last post. Thanks Lisa...you totally rock!

One of the brides in this photo is interested in "trashing her dress" after the wedding! We think that is awesome!

And, the crazy couple in the middle of this photo is Raven and Jeff, who we recently signed to do her wedding next summer. We are really looking forward to their wedding...as you can see they're gonna be a lot of fun to work with!

Thanks to all of you who were willing to put on some goofy props and have some fun with us today...we hope to hear from all of you about working with you on your weddings! :)

Keep us in mind as we await the arrival of the little one...the due date has been moved up to basically any day now! And, stay tuned for great engagement session that Wes did last week.
