Whitestone Inn Wedding Photography : Cathy + Rob 4.23.11

Alright, back to weddings. Today I want to share the beautiful wedding of Rob and Cathy at the amazing Whitestone Inn in Kingston. Rob and Cathy are one of those cool couples that, within 2 seconds of meeting them, you know they are soul mates. It makes our jobs so much easier when the couples are in mad love with each other.

The Whitestone florists made Cathy a beautiful bouquet.

The bride getting dressed.

Don't. Spill. Coke. On. The. Dress!

It was a little windy so we played with it… and Danielle got this gorgeous image!!

Smoochies!

Beautiful!

We had a Hope Photo first (and not in a good way)… Cathy and her girls were riding in a golf cart around the grounds of Whitestone to get from portrait spot to spot and Danielle and I were in a cart behind them. All of the sudden we hear a shriek and their cart came to a quick stop. We pulled up next to them and found out that the wind ripped the train of Cathy's dress from her hand and it, in turn, got run over by the cart! Augh! There were black streaks all over the dress! But aside from this initial freakout moment, Cathy nonchalantly shrugged it off. She had such a great attitude about it!

I mean, look at that smile while they cleaned the dress off! I know if it were me, I'd be at DEFCON 1 on the Bridezilla scale (not that I'll ever be a bridezilla). And for the record, all the tire marks came out and no one would have known about it if it hadn't become the story of the day. :)

Enter the groom! Rob is a nut. That's why he and I got along so well. ;)

Looking dapper, Mr. Smith.

Land ho!

Lemme out of here!

Waiting on the ceremony.

Cathy's boys walked her down the aisle.

It was an emotional and beautiful ceremony.

It's been a while since we've seen a butterfly release!

Clinging on.

OMGorgeous!

Two views.

So many jokes about them being swingers, so little time…

Well, he's yours to do that to now. ;)

Since we were about to go into the reception, they asked if they could practice their dance moves really quick. Of course!

The practice paid off.

Rob liked the dancing so much, he wouldn't stop.

He even took his sister for a spin.

The life of the party.

Cathy gets a goodbye hug from her daughter.

Like Rob's dancing, we couldn't stop shooting… we asked them for a couple more portraits as the sun started setting before we left.

And Rob turned into Quasimodo. Hey, I have a don't ask, don't tell policy. Whatever floats your boat, man.

Thank you so much Cathy and Rob! Your wedding was amazing and I'm so glad that we got to be a part of it. :)
