Maryville Senior Photography - Abby

Okay, we let Wes take a minute to post an amazing wedding, but now it's back to more senior awesomeness!! Brittany and I had the pleasure of working with her niece Abby a few weeks ago. Abby is a beautiful senior and she sure turned some heads when we were downtown shooting. For a minute, I thought I was going to have to go all "mom" on some teenage boys who were leaning out of their car at a red light yelling at her!! ;)

Wes LOVES this photo. He says, "it looks all cool and sci-fi... it's awesome!"

Such a sweet expression.

I can't tell you what we said here to make her smile so big...it's something that we tend to say during every session though to elicit a "real" smile. You'll just have to book a session with us to find out!

Brittany at work.

Our seniors LOVE us...can't you tell??!!

This is one of my favorite photos that I have ever taken!

Oddly enough, we had finished the session and we went back to my house to get Brittany's car and we decided to walk out into a nearby field and we stumbled upon this great barn and awesome trailer.

This was such a fun session to photograph. We had a ton of fun just playing with Abby and her many outfits! By the end of the session it looked like a teenage girl's closet had thrown up in the back of our minivan/changing room. ;)

Fall is filling up very quickly and we already have a few fall sessions that will be coming up soon on the blog so stay tuned and contact us if you want to take advantage of our fall special and get those Christmas cards!

Knoxville Wedding Photography: Casey + Robert 08.21.10

While Danielle and Brittany have been off playing senior portrait photographer (and man, what a great job they're doing, huh?!?), I've been pounding away at the computer on Casey and Robert's wedding. It was a monster wedding! I think we broke some sort of record with how much we shot!

We were hired to photograph the rehearsal and dinner the night before the wedding so that always adds a little to our total, but Danielle, Brittany, and I all went overboard with the awesome photos. It's easy to do when your couple are as fun as Casey and Robert are. Casey "interned" for us this past summer and she's a bona fide nut. She has to be to hang out with us. So we knew her wedding was going to be a blast and trust me, it was.

Here are a "few" favorites from the weekend...

Casey apparently thought she was going to be riding a pony down the aisle.

I don't know what was said, but I'm sure it was funny.

Phone. It's what's for dinner.

Ah, the wedding gift that keeps on giving... a $2 bill.

Told you these two were a couple of knuckleheads.

The next morning came early for Casey, who, like us, doesn't do mornings.

The wedding was at the beautiful St. Mark United Methodist Church in Rocky Hill.

Robert with his boys.

While I was off photographing Robert and his family, Danielle played around with Casey.

Almost game time.

Score one for Christy with One Enchanted Evening... the wedding planner was able to convince the little flowergirl to make it down the aisle. So what if she dumped the entire basket in one spot? They told her to get rid of the petals and she got rid of the petals.

And a silly little petal mountain isn't going to stop this gorgeous bride from getting to her man.

I *love* this one from Danielle during the ceremony.

In my best Borat voice, "High five!"

They said something about a family resemblance... I don't know that I see it.

Together at last.

Aren't they a cute couple?

Robert playing model.

Check out this cool tree outside the church... looked like something from Savannah.

Nice!

The reception was at the beautiful L&N Station near downtown Knoxville.

During the toast, Casey's dad transferred a symbolic ribbon from his little finger to Robert's. Get it?

Of course we took a break from the reception to do more photos. You can't be at a place like the L&N, with all it's cool old architecture, and not take advantage of it.

Love it.

Stairs everywhere!

The groom...

The bride.

:)

Throwing some moody skies into the mix.

They had a wild party including kid tossing and miniature break dancing.

Danielle and Brittany both got some peak action during the bouquet and garter tosses.

Quack quack.

DJ's lights... I either love them or hate them. Right now, I love them.

Bubbly.

Escape!

Thank you so much Casey and Robert! We hope you love the photos! And sorry it's taken a little longer (for us) than normal to get them done... try not to be some awesome the next time we shoot your wedding and we won't run into that problem again, m'kay? ;)
