Whitestone Wedding Photography - Rachel+Hugh 10.17.09

Our third wedding in Octoblitz and the first wedding of our double-header weekend was with Rachel and Hugh at Whitestone Inn, or as Danielle and I like to refer to it as “the place where we had the best wedding food we’ve ever eaten”.  :) The weather wasn’t the best, but luckily the couple had planned for an indoor ceremony so the ice-cold wind and light rainy mist didn’t dampen their spirits (or the rockin' reception later on) and we still managed to sneak outside and get a few portraits.

Enjoy some favorites from their day...

Rachel looking beautiful in some nice window light.

Danielle borrowed the bouquet for a cool photo in the getting ready area.

Told you it was a tad bit windy.

Gorgeous!

Love this long staircase outside.

Rachel waiting to ascend the stairs for the ceremony to start.

Whitestone has such a pretty little chapel.

I think this little cutie was waiting for someone else to come through the doors.

The ring was dropped during the exchange and before any heckling could begin, Hugh kept the crowd in check.

Bubbles!

We're married!

Danielle found a little bit of fall color starting to show itself.

A little first dance twirl.

Rachel's mom pieced together this quilt we photographed the rings on for the couple to use as a sort of guestbook.

The toss. I wish every venue had a cool staircase to throw the bouquet from.

This should be a ride at Disney World.

Thanks Rachel and Hugh! It was a beautiful wedding!

Later,
Wes

Coming next: Becky and Mac's fall portrait session

LOVE the one of them kissing in front of the church doors! Great processing (b&w-ish, textures), great shot!
