Lauren+Kevin 11-22-08

Our last wedding of the season! It feels good. A nice sigh of relief. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE our weddings, but it's going to be nice to have a little downtime until our next wedding in January. I've got a lot of housekeeping to do between now and then (mainly our website and this blog need a makeover badly).

I thought we went out with a bang. This was the wedding of Kevin and Lauren, whose eSession was a few posts back. It was a nice chilly November day in the gorgeous First Baptist Church of Knoxville. The architecture and marble work is amazing there. Lauren and Kevin are fun to hang out with so we had great time walking all over the church looking for cool spots to photograph them in. On with the show...

A little prep action.

Tiny buttons didn't help the process.

Danielle got artsy while Kevin and the boys got ready.

Hey, the Vols won one on their wedding day. Lauren's garter must have been good luck.

I love the determined look on this one.

Beautimus!

Dad sneaking a kiss.

Cool bouquet.

Kevin looking dapper.

The beautiful Lauren.

Butterflies.

Lighting the remembrance candles.

We found a cubby hole in the choir loft and stuck Beth, our super assistant for a cool angle on the ceremony.

Danielle getting artsy again.

One of my absolute favorites.

And the other absolute favorite.

Yeah, we dug the old spiral staircase.

Told you the church was nice.

The cake was "for the birds". (Ba-dum-dum... thank you, I'll be here all week!)

I love fall weddings.

Dancing with Dad.

Their friends and family were pretty tame when it came to car decorating.

And giving "I Love You's" as they drove away.

Thanks again Lauren and Kevin!! We had a great time!

And blog followers, we've got an other engagement session and a few other odds and ends to post soon so stay tuned!

I love all the details-the veil, cake, bouquet, the up close pix that will be cherished forever. What a great way to wrap up the year. Hope you all have a blessed Christmas and a very happy and prosperous new year!
