Sara+Neal: The Wedding 3.14.09

First, apologies for not getting a teaser post out for Sara and Neal's wedding. We're are working hard to get our gallery up and going (more on that in a post next week) and have been slammed. So I decided to get their images done as fast as I could and do one big extra large post instead.

Sara and Neal were wed almost two weeks ago at 2nd Presbyterian Church of Knoxville. The weather outside was frightful, rainy all day long, but the ceremony was beautiful inside the amazing church sanctuary. And then the cool couple had a fun reception at the Foundry On The Fair Site.

Enough chatter, on with the show!

Little Lilli, the flower girl, walking in with her Mommy.

Getting ready.

The beautiful bride.

Getting all fashion-y (I love making up words).

Lilli was watching the girls during the portraits and I snuck and grabbed this one. I think it's timeless.

A little sibling love for Neal and his family.

Neal looking sharp in the tux.

Playing with the doors in the front of the church.

Thanks to the rain, we improvised with locations around the church like this walkway.

And cool places inside the church.

Okay, I know it looks like we're obsessed with Lilli, but we just happened to catch some really cute moments with her. Danielle found her sneaking a peak out the door before the start of the ceremony.

Danielle got a nice wide image from the balcony.

The exit!

Sara and her dad after the ceremony. Not going to lie, as a daddy to two little girls, I teared up with them.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Guthe's.

They're such a sweet couple.

Another great bouquet by Lisa Foster.

The first dance.

Lilli and grandpa cutting a rug.

This guy knew how to get down.

What she's whispering in his ear? :)

Neal and his dad and brothers did some awesome Beatles' covers for guests.

After he finished his set, Neal's biggest fan ran to meet him. Ain't love grand?

Thanks again Sara and Neal! We hope you love them.

And stay tuned everyone for that post about our gallery that I promised. It's still in the works, but we're getting closer. Danielle and I are heading up to Knoxville tomorrow to finish painting and to do some trim work, which should be fun since I'm a better photographer than I am a carpenter. Oh, and we have some photos of the girls to share too!

Until then,
Wes
