Hello everyone! We hope you're having a wonderful summer so far! The heat has been kicking our butts this season, but Danielle and I are surviving and still making some beautiful images for our couples. Speaking of which, we photographed
Katie and Will's awesome wedding at the end of May. The wedding and reception were at the always beautiful
Whitestone Inn in Kingston, Tn. Will and Katie are so much fun to hang around. It doesn't feel like work when you're laughing the whole day!
Danielle kicked some booty shooting details and the getting ready. :) And I hung with Will. Will is a nut. A good kind of nut. But still yet, a nut.And to be honest, I think that's why we get along so well together. We crazy guys have to stick together. The first look.We always like to play on the stairs at Whitestone.Say it with me… "I don't know what was said, but I'm sure it was funny!"Katie being all "beautiful bride" for us.Such a cute couple! If you're not a photographer, ignore this next bit: I got a 24/1.4 loaner from Canon and played around with it… this is shot wide open. That is one scha-weet lens!Katie was starting to get over me at this point. Will and his Dad before the ceremony.Everybody's a photographer!I love Mom's reaction when she saw Katie walking down the aisle. :'sBling!Fingers… they're what's for dinner!RINGS!!Um… let me in?Here's how I remember it (don't worry, I'm probably wrong)...
Dad: If you hurt my little girl, I'll cut your head off.
Katie: It's true. They never found my last boyfriend.
Dad: I'm kidding… I LOVE THIS GUY!!
(Sorry, I couldn't help a little improv there.)Some first dance sweetness.Attack of the bridesmaid!!It's always funny to me how singing at the top of your lungs looks like screaming at the top of your lungs.I love the middle shot. She's got to be saying, You got owned!A little explanation on this one. Katie saw a photo like this at Whitestone and asked if we could do one. Of course we can! Photographer's don't usually like to copy other photographers, especially when it's a photo that the second photographer is known for. But we know the guy who did this shot; it's our friend, Chris Hoopes of Brandt Photography, who is a great photographer (seriously, check the link). So I give the credit to this beautiful photo to Chris and Katie (Chris for doing the first photo and Katie for wanting to replicate it). :)Thanks so much, Katie and Will! We had a blast with you guys!!

Beautiful work as always! And Wes, I appreciate the witty photo captions, even the "I'm not sure what was said..." one. =)
