Maryville portrait photography - clare and adam

Continuing on with our pet theme, we have Clare and Adam. Well, they aren't the pets, but they did want to include their pets in the session so we got to meet Buck and Bandit!

So first, meet Buck! Buck is a super cool horse with zebra like stripes up his legs that only showed up in sunlight. Our girls were invited along on this session and they were completed fascinated!

Just a girl, a horse and some awesome fall colors.

Just a girl, a horse and the moon.

Some horse lovin'.

Definitely one of my favorites!

Now, meet Bandit as he gets up close and personal with Adam's glasses!

There's just something about a boy and his dog.

Siblings.

I guess they can be sweet to one another sometimes.

The sweetness doesn't last too long though! :)

If you are a regular here, then you remember me making the comment about kids eating leaves a few posts ago. Now, even older kids are wanting bites! Seriously, those things must be laced with chocolate!

We have taken pics of Clare and Adam on several different occasions and I know that I say this a lot, but I always mean it when I do, they are truly some of our favorite clients! I often say how great it is getting to watch our clients change and grow and in Adam's case this is even more of a blessing because he fought (and won) a pretty rough battle with cancer for most of last year! He is one awesome little boy and his family is so amazing for fighting alongside of him!

Thank you Clare and Adam! It is always fun to see you guys and thank you for sharing Buck with our girls and allowing them a ride!

Maryville Pet Photography - Luna, Levi, and Rocco

Want to know what's more challenging than photographing children? Dogs. Big, hyper, lovable, goofball canines. One of our past clients, Angie, was dog-sitting for a friend who has a pair of awesome great danes. We did such a good job photographing Angie's pooches Blueberry and Tater Tot this past spring that she wanted to give her friend the gift of photos of her beloved Luna and Levi. I was ready for the slobbery challenge and met at Angie's house to try to capture these gentle giants.

This is Levi. Bet you can't tell how we were trying to get him to sit still.

And this is Luna. She is such a sweetie. Sadly, she has cancer that has already taken one of her legs, but no one sent her the memo because she was running around keeping up with Levi all over the lawn.

Levi thought he was being all camouflage and stuff.

Sometimes you just have to scratch your back.

Finally! They paused for a split second and I was able to get one of the two of them together.

Who needs 4 legs to be a happy dog?

Baaaaaaallllll!!!

Siblings.

Angie also asked if I could get a few photos of her beautiful white Great Dane, Rocco. Don't worry… he's playful. And no owners were harmed in the making of this photo.

He was quite the bounder too.

Rocco is deaf, so it was cool watching Angie interact with him.

What a beauty!

Thanks Angie and furry friends!!
