Ellie Kate is One!

We've been surrounded by one-year-olds! Ellie Kate is another all-star client we've had the joy of watching grow up over the last year. We met with her and her family on the Greenbelt in Maryville for a fun little session recently. She was crawling all over the place and does a good job standing by herself. It's only a matter of time before Mommy and Daddy are chasing after her. There's no rest once they start walking. Something we're about to be reminded about in the next few months with Millie.

Here are some favorites from the day...


We started with a few family photos. Little Ellie Kate was already trying to get away.

Oh yeah, let her practice guys. She'll be sprinting in no time. I love how proud she looks.


No toddlers were harmed in the making of this session. Daddy was holding her arm to make sure she didn't take a tumble off the bridge.


I ab-so-tively <3 this one! How stinkin' cute is she?



My, my she is a beauty.


We had a similar moment from her six-month session. It would be cool to do this every year until she's a teenager (though she won't be as willing then I'm sure).


Look at her standing by herself. In a stiff breeze too!


This was during an outfit change. I couldn't help it; I just loved the colors.


Right before we left we found a little patch of purple flowers. She thought it was fun.


But then she got over it. "Get that camera out of my face!" Just like a celebrity fighting off the paparazzi.
