Maryville portrait photography - Jackson

Okay folks, it is fall session time! Get ready to see some awesome families, cuddly couples and super cute kiddos all surrounded by the beautiful leaves of East Tennessee!

Up first it's Jackson. Jackson and his mom and dad have made a few other appearances on our blog in the past and this session was to celebrate him turning one!

This first one gives away the secret to a happy toddler at a photo session.

See? And he knows it too, just look at that sneaky smile!

His mom and dad learned that he could say another word at this session. "DUUUUUUCK"! This was super cute for about 15 minutes and then I really wanted to catch a duck so that I could get him to look at the camera! :)

Happy Family!

Some fun with mommy.

I really need to taste some leaves. They must be fantastic as often as the kiddos want to eat them!

Some fun with daddy.

I think he was going to work out after our session.

Man, they are giving out licenses WAY too early now! :P

I think he's having fun!

Thank you Jackson (and mommy and daddy) for hanging out in the leaves with us!

Maryville Portrait Photography - Lila is One!

Sweet little Lila makes another appearance on our blog today. She recently turned one and is just as precious and beautiful as ever. It's been amazing watching her grow this year (see her last session here). And at the end of the session, her cousin Annagrace (who we photographed last month, joined us for some fall photos. It was such a fun session!

Such a cutie!

I should sell this one to Radio Flyer.

The ingenuity of a one-year-old.

What a beauty.

This is how we prevent eyes being gouged.

She loves standing and walking now.

Mom and Dad hopped in for a couple.

It's always nice seeing our wedding couples grow into families.

Baby steps.

Welcome Annagrace to the session!

Lila: "Here. Have this leaf."

Annagrace: "No thanks. I want that bow!"

"Why are you so happy?"

Lila: "Can you believe they're going to make us sit in here?"

Annagrace: "Seriously?"

Annagrace: "This isn't so bad! It's like a roller coaster! Wheeee!!!"

Lila: "I hate roller coasters!"

Lila: "Let's just make silly faces. They'll get us out of here faster!"

Lila: "That's it! I'm breaking out!! I can't take it any more!!"

Annagrace: "I think I'm getting a case of Pumpkin Butt."

"Mommy, I'll give you this bow if you get me out of this pumpkin!"

I know. I'm crazy. Forgive the silly commentary. I couldn't help it. Those pumpkin photos crack me up.

Thank you Lila! Congratulations on being a one year old!! And thanks for hanging out Annagrace. :)

Maryville Pet Photography - Luna, Levi, and Rocco

Want to know what's more challenging than photographing children? Dogs. Big, hyper, lovable, goofball canines. One of our past clients, Angie, was dog-sitting for a friend who has a pair of awesome great danes. We did such a good job photographing Angie's pooches Blueberry and Tater Tot this past spring that she wanted to give her friend the gift of photos of her beloved Luna and Levi. I was ready for the slobbery challenge and met at Angie's house to try to capture these gentle giants.

This is Levi. Bet you can't tell how we were trying to get him to sit still.

And this is Luna. She is such a sweetie. Sadly, she has cancer that has already taken one of her legs, but no one sent her the memo because she was running around keeping up with Levi all over the lawn.

Levi thought he was being all camouflage and stuff.

Sometimes you just have to scratch your back.

Finally! They paused for a split second and I was able to get one of the two of them together.

Who needs 4 legs to be a happy dog?

Baaaaaaallllll!!!

Siblings.

Angie also asked if I could get a few photos of her beautiful white Great Dane, Rocco. Don't worry… he's playful. And no owners were harmed in the making of this photo.

He was quite the bounder too.

Rocco is deaf, so it was cool watching Angie interact with him.

What a beauty!

Thanks Angie and furry friends!!
