Maryville Portrait Photography - Carson

Hey all, ready for more fall!? (I know that rhyme was totally cheesy... sorry)! Today we get to meet Carson and his mom and dad. Brittany and I had a great afternoon with Mr. Carson. He is two-years-old and believe me when I say that he is VERY two! He was all over the place and it was tough to get him to slow down and be still for any pictures, but it was great exercise for us and I do believe we did get some great images!

I have to say that I LOVE this family photo!

You wouldn't know it by looking at him but he was actually screaming, "I LOVE Hope Photography"! It was so random and sweet! ;)

Every time I see this happen during a session, it makes me wish I were still small enough to do this with my parents. Just look how happy he is!

Wes says he can totally relate to Carsen in this photo because he wants to scream at Brittany quite often! ;)

This is quite possibly my favorite shot from any session this year! Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go, right?! Wes says he is quite impressed at the height that Carson got here! And by the way, I totally got mom's permission before blogging this one. :)

Just look at that smile. :)

This is another favorite of mine!

When we start getting this pose, we know that the session is quickly coming to an end.

Playing in the leaves!

LOVE these sweet moments with mommy!

One last look to make sure that we were really finished and he really did have permission to run and get dirty. :)

Thank you so much Carson and family! It was a blast chasing you all over; tiring, but fun! We can't wait to do it again at our next session with you all!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! I just wanted to throw a quick blog up to show off our little cuties and some images from our studio. Wait, what? You don't know about our studio? If you don't then you must not follow us on our Facebook Fan Page (for shame! What's stopping you?). But don't feel bad, we haven't announced it on the blog yet. We're still waiting on two little things before we're 100% open. Don't get me wrong, we're 99.5% open right now and we're already doing meetings, holding projection sessions, and we've done a few portraits there.

Danielle, Brittany and I had the idea to do a day of Halloween costume mini-sessions at the studio, but unfortunately the idea came a little too late for us to organize it properly. Rocktober is kicking our butts this year with a record number of portrait sessions and a ton of weddings so squeezing in a last mini-session marathon just didn't seem like a grand idea. But we did go ahead and do a few photos of Maddie and Millie in their costumes to A) see if it would work and B) get some promo pics in case we do it next year.

Millie chose an elephant costume this year (yep, we let her decide). I think she just wanted to show off how she makes an elephant sound with her hand/trunk.

Such. A. Stinkin'. Cutie!!

Maddie wanted to be something scary this year. The problem is they don't make too many "scary" costumes for 5 year-olds. But we did find this vampire princess costume and she fell in love with it. She's sure is spooky!

Danielle is a big TrueBlood/Twilight fan so she *had* to do this one.

Millie isn't too sure about the costume though.

But she warmed up to her (not sure if she's dropping a deuce in the second photo or what).

Mwuar!!

Right before I broke the set down, Millie grabbed these little devil horns and struck this super cute pose. I have to say, this photo sums Millie like none other I've ever taken. Sweet and cute as a button, but there's a little devil hiding in her. She can be mean as a snake when she wants to be.

Have fun trick or treating everyone!! I plan on being in a sugar coma for the next few days! What? It's a daddy's job to "check" all the candy for safety before he let's the kids gorge. ;)

And we'll post some photos of the studio and announce our open house soon. Stay tuned!

Knoxville Family Photography - The Harts

Hey Everyone! I hope you all are getting to enjoy the beautiful fall leaves! I know I've sure gotten to see a lot of them this year with all of the fall family sessions that Brittany and I have had. Today, meet the Hart Family! Brittany has photographed Riley since she was a baby and she has sure grown into a cutie. This was my first session with this sweet family and I'm looking forward to many more!

Happy Family shot!

How stinkin' cute is this??!!

Look at those tears!! :(

Obviously, she rebounded quickly.

My other favorite family photo.

So sweet!

Exploring with daddy.

GiggleFace!

Buh-bye!

Thank you Hart family! It was a pleasure meeting you and tag-teaming the session with Brittany!

Knoxville Family Photography - The Mobleys

More fall on the blog today! Meet the Mobley family. Laura contacted us a few weeks ago to schedule a session so that she could have some Christmas cards with a family photo on them. We met them at the UT Ag. Gardens on possibly the worst day that we could've that week! There was some sort of photography class going on and there were people running around all over the place with their subjects and their cameras. I had to stop a few of them from taking photos of our couple! It was photo madness!

Laura and Craig (or as Brittany calls them, Lauren and Greg because she forgets people's names about 10 seconds after meeting them) were great about it and totally made light of the surreal situation! They were a lot of fun!

What's a family photo without the kid right (or in this case Frank their Puggle)?!

What a good lookin' family.

Frank (whose tongue is as long as he is).

The light was yummy that day.

I'm not sure what I said here but I think it was something like: "No, please leave us alone, we are NOT part of your class"!!

While taking the pictures in this location we had a very "helpful" classmate stop by to give us a few more "posing ideas"! It was crazy I tell you, crazy!

This is how Laura would get Craig to smile :)

I love this one!

I think maybe they were going to San Fransisco after the session :)

I love this one too!

Thank you Laura, Craig and of course, Frank! We had a great time and I think we got you just a few Christmas card photos to choose from!! ;)

ps: The deadline for getting those Christmas card orders placed is December 1st so contact us soon!!
